Red Ruble Kale Seeds

This Red Ruble kale can be grown all year with little risk to bolting during the summer months it offers an intense red colour which can brighten up the allotment during the darkest of winters.

Best enjoyed as a young tender plant as it matures the intense red colouring will fade, red ruble was originally intended for use in baby mix leaf salads and that’s still the best way to enjoy this variety start picking and consuming after 6 weeks.

Common Questions

When the harvest Red Ruble Kale? After 6 weeks is the normal growth time, picked and harvested when the leaf’s reach 5-12cm in size. Sow every 3 weeks to enjoy a continued supply all year.

Does Red Ruble pick and come again? No. Best enjoyed as a young crop or baby leaf this kale variety is not suited for pick and come again.

Can it be grown all year? Yes, you can grow this kale variety all year indoors or outdoors continued sowing will ensure a supply all year.
