Below Zero F1 Leek Seeds
[102 days from transplant] As the name suggests, the Below Zero F1 leek is one of the hardiest varieties created for our British climes. A late season crop, it holds well right through to May, and is both bolt-resistant and rust resistant. The stems have a nice crisp texture and a perfect, strong flavour.
Can be lifted from Christmas through May.

How do you care for Below Zero seedlings? Ensure that you have planted your leeks in a sunny spot with soil that is both fertile and well-draining. Your vegetables will need a lot of nitrogen and moist soil to really thrive in your garden as they are regarded as heavy feeders.
How long can Below Zero leeks be left in the ground? You can increase the harvest period of your leeks by lifting when they are still small. You can keep your leeks in the ground until needed as they are extremely hardy and do not bolt easy.
