Waverex Pea Seeds
A prolific Petite Poi, Waverex is a compact shell pea that yields copious masses of pods full of tiny, sweet peas on a bush habit. The plants themselves grow only to about 60 cm (24”) and are great for container gardens or any allotment short on space.
How do you grow Waverex petite pois peas? You can grow your Waverex seeds direct in February to March under cloches for extra protection from the colder weather. Your pea seeds should germinate in about 9 days at temperatures of 16°C.
How tall does Waverex pea plants grow? Your Waverex pea plants should grow to about 60cm tall and produce pea pods about 7cm long.
Do Waverex Peas need full sun? Although Waverex peas like cooler temperatures they still need about 4 to 5 hours worth of direct sunlight per day to mature. You should plant your Waverex seeds in a cool shady place to lengthen your growing season.
