A delicious, autumn-fruiting, red raspberry with large fruit and wonderfully high yields.
sorry, currently out of stock
The earliest fall-fruiting raspberry in the British Isles, Joan J produces amazing amounts of large, firm, easy-to-pick fruit on thornless canes. One of the best raspberries for our climate, Joan J is especially cold-hardy and will produce from September through our first frost, and if pruned correctly, will offer an additional summer harvest as well.
Depending on when you plant, you should get some fruit your first fall after planting, but expect high yields the following years.
Raspberries are a perennial plant and will live on in your garden for many, many years, so choose your planting location accordingly.
