A red-fruited, alpine strawberry with a lovely flavour and aroma. Ever-bearing.
sorry, currently out of stock
Also known as ‘wild strawberries’, or the ‘woodland strawberry’, this particular variety of alpine berry produces red, smallish-fruits with a delightfully potent aroma and flavour. They produce all season long and have a tendency to clump rather than spread runners. As such they’re excellent for edging, either for borders or containers. They’re also great as groundcover.
These little guys are very hardy and disease-resistant and need next to no care once planted. Being an ever-bearing variety, they produce much smaller berries as the total amount is spread out all-season long rather than one great push over June-July. Still, their fragrance and flavour make them well worth it!
