One of the more unusual of the strawberry varieties, Snow White is like a strawberry in reverse—pale white flesh and red pips. The medium-sized berries have a pineapple-like flavour and the fragrance is so intense that cultivating these in your allotment could be worth it for the sight and smell alone. June-bearing, it's a strong cropper and has larger fruits than other white strawberry varieties.
Bonus: the white flesh of these unique berries is often unnoticed by birds who tend to prey upon its red-coloured relatives. No netting needed!
