A gorgeous hardneck variety with a fine flavour and a long shelf like. Vigourous and easy to grow.
Hailing from the southern Moravian town of Mikulov, this garlic is pack with fire and was a favorite of the Jewish community that lived in the area. The bulbs are violet-coloured and sport huge cloves—roughly 6-7 per bulb. One of the more vigourous Eastern European garlics, Mikulov also does well in our UK climes. The flavour has been described as “noble” by the residents of Mikulov, and we personally find that it definitely packs a punch.
Once harvested, Mikulov stores really well.
