Sowing Runner Beans

Start sowing during April in modules or a root trainer once grown with tall broad leaves transplant out into a sunny location. Runner beans will require a decent bean pole to climb or plenty of jute netting you will need the structure to be at least 6ft in height 8ft is perfect!

Runner beans can be grown in pots, tubs, any back garden or an allotment site. They will happily climb up a garden trellis, or any bamboo frame from A-frames to Wigwams!
