Black Opal Tomato Seeds

A super sweet black cherry tomato becoming a firm favourite in the home garden. Much sweeter than that of the popular Sweet Aperitif tomato. These cherry tomatoes are excelent for snack packs or lunch boxes! Sweeter than both Black Cherry and Chocolate Cherry, but retaining the high levels of anthocyanins and lycopene.

For additional heavy yields best to train and prune the tomato plant regular.

What are black opal tomatoes? A small cherry tomato, very sweet and coloured in a dark brown skin with matching flesh often referred to as black tomato however the colour resembles that more of dark chocolate.

How do you grow black opal tomato seeds? For best results sow under grow lights and a heated propagator at around 18c. If you do not have grow lights or a heated propagator start sowing mid April after temperatures begin to rise. 

How big are Black Opal tomatoes? Your Black Opal tomato plants will produce dark red, tangy but sweet fruits that can grow to about 4cm wide.
