Marketmore Cucumber Seeds
[70 days] One of the most popular varieties of cucumber, Marketmore cucumbers produce everything one is wanting from a traditional cucumber: mildly sweet, straight fruits with dark green, protective skin. The fruits are up to 9” long and the plants produce over a long season, regardless of whether the weather is hot or cool. Highly disease-resistant and extremely reliable.

Should I pick the flowers off of my Marketmore cucumber plants? If you allow the male flowers on a Marketmore cucumber to pollinate the female flowers then you can end of with a bitter-tasting cucumber. Picking off the male flowers once a week will eliminate the bitter compound called cucurbitacin.
Can you grow Marketmore cucumbers outside? Yes. Marketmore is one of the few cucumbers that will thrive inside a greenhouse or in the outdoors. Provide a trellis for climbing and a sunny spot in the garden or allotment and you will be rewarded with fresh outdoor-grown cucumbers.
How long are marketmore cucumbers? Marketmore produces beautiful, dark green cucumbers that grow to about 8 inches long. The plant produces new fruits all season even with regular picking and offers fruits that keep their size and shape even when in poor weather conditions.
