Also known as Romanesco broccoli, Calabrese romanesco, Broccoflower, this stunning beauty has apple-green whorled heads that taste have a nutty flavour somewhere between cauliflower and broccoli, with no cauliflower bitterness. It’s been widely loved in Italy since the 16th century, and is best served raw or slightly cooked.

Bred for cool climates, the Romanesco cauliflower does well in our northern climes.
