Dutchman F1 Cabbage Seeds
[90 days] A narrow-based, pointed cabbage, Dutchman is the perfect variety for gardens or allotments with less space. The heads offer a remarkably mild, yet sweet flavour, and are bolt-resistant. It also has a good resistance to the fungus that causes white blister.
Any incredibly versatile, cabbage, Dutchman is great raw, lightly steamed, souped, or sautéed!
How long does it take for cabbage seeds to germinate? 8 to 10 days. To ensure good germiation rates it's best to sow the seeds in trays or modules rather than directly to the ground.
How long does it take for Dutchman cabbage heads to form? Dutchman F1 heads should form in about 70 days. Cabbage tends to form better in the slightly warmer conditions of spring than in any other season.
Does Dutchman F1 cabbage need full sun? Yes. You should be sowing your cabbage seeds in a full sun position where they will expect to receive around 6 to 8 hours of direct sunlight per day.
