Bred in the English isles for just our climate, these well-beloved storage onions have been a British favourite for well over 100 years.
[120 days] A reliable cropper and great keeper, Bedfordshire Champion onions have been one of the most popular British onion varieties for well over a century. Its golden-brown skin, crisp flesh, and mild flavour can’t be beat. The bulbs are large and truly some of the best keepers around.
Bred for the cooler summers of our UK climate, the Bedfordshire Champion is a late-maturing variety, and when stored correctly, should last all the way through the next spring.
