Salad Onions

Salad onions, also known as Spring Onions, Green Onions or even scallions. Salad onions have a milder taste than traditional globe onions. A sharp flavour makes them perfect for summer salads, BBQ cooking or being enjoyed in a stir fry.

Salad onions can be oversown in a small area and in very close proximity due to the fact they only produce 1 upright leaf this allows spring onions to be grown in a very small space. Frequent picking from 16 weeks onwards can provide you with a single crop to be enjoyed over many months.
