Description

White Gem Parsnip Seeds

This is a good wedge-shaped parsnip variety, medium sized roots when compared to our favourite Tender & Tue. Good resistance to canker. Strong flavoured tastes very good roasted with no need to salt - a splash of honey will sweeten them up even more, with good texture and skin quality..

Like all parsnips, White Gem is a long-term crop, needing to be in the ground at least 8 months before harvesting after the first frost. Hardy in our climes, you can harvest parsnips all winter long as needed.

Note: Parsnip seed doesn't store well. For best results, sow a fresh crop every year.
