[65 days] This dual-purpose spring onion has an amazing flavour both raw and cooked. It’s most often used as a spring salad onion, but leave it in the ground long enough and it will swell to form beautiful, red-purple roots that store well and cook up magnificently. It’s a gorgeous onion regardless of how you use it, and will add great colour and flavour to salads and cooked dishes alike.
A fast-maturing onion (especially when used for salads), you can sow Lilia onions every 2-3 weeks throughout the spring and summer for a continuous supply.
Height: 45cm (18"). Spread: 10cm (4").
