Paris Silver Skin Seeds
[70 days] Excellent both as a spring onion and a bulbing onion, the Paris Silver Skin is best known for its small pure-white bulbs that are well esteemed as 'cocktail' onions or for cooking whole in casseroles and stews. As spring onions, the Paris Silver Skin has a sweet, mild flavour and a delicious crunch. As a bulb, it gets even sweeter.
These particular onions are incredibly easy to grow, and will flourish even on light, poor soil.
Highly recommended by the RHS as an attractant and nectar source for bees and other beneficial insects when allowed to flower. (So if a few of your plants go a little too far over and you have the room, let them flower instead of pulling them up straight away.)
Height: 45cm (18"). Spread: 10cm (4").
